Urban India Ministries (UIM) is an inter-denominational family ministry propagating family values based on Biblical principles. It was registered as a trust in the state of Karnataka in 1998 with its headquarters in Bangalore, India.

A group of friends who grew up together in their youth fellowships (mostly from the Mar Thoma Church in Bangalore) wanted to strengthen their own family life and decided to conduct a family camp in the summer of 1998. They resolved after the conference to be committed to their own marriage and wanted to help families irrespective of church backgrounds who were battling in the area of family life due to urban pressure.

What began in Bangalore as a small initiative in 1998 to help a few families, has grown to become one of the largest family ministry in India. Since inception, UIM has established ministries in many other cities in India and also conducted family seminars in many of the major cities in India and a few other countries such as UAE, UK and US.
