Mrs. Kamala Benjamin (Honorary Chairperson) | | Mrs. Kamala Benjamin has been an active member of UIM since its inception. She is a graduate in Economics from Madras University and Post Graduate in Christian Education from Talbot Seminary, CA, USA. She is currently working as faculty in both APC Bible College and at Haggai Institute. Along with her husband, Rev. C A Benjamin, the Director of FEBA radio, they are widely used as the resource couple for various family events across India. They have a daughter and two sons.
Mrs. Sheeba Thomas (Treasurer) Since 1998, Mrs. Sheeba Thomas and her husband Mr. Biju K Thomas have been participants and volunteers with Urban India Ministries (UIM). After her post graduation she completed Inter in ICWA and MPhil in Service Marketing and also done her MBA from Allahabad University. She is presently doing research (PhD) in Service Marketing from Bangalore University. She has fifteen years of teaching experience beginning with Bishop Cotton Boys School, Baldwin Women’s Methodist College and CMR Institute of Management studies. Currently a visiting faculty at Mount Carmel Institute of Management Studies and is also on their panel of board of studies. She has been training teachers and students in various colleges and schools, imparting value based teaching. During her college days she was involved with Youth Ministries of Campus Crusade for Christ. She has been trained by Haggai and Urban India Ministries to train and mentor leaders along with her husband. She is involved with Bible Study Fellowship, Bangalore for the last 4 years and is currently the Substitute Teaching Leader. Mr. Biju K Thomas (Trustee) Mr. Biju K Thomas has been a participant and volunteer with Urban India Ministries (UIM) from 1998. He felt the call to be a tent maker and serve God through the ministry of UIM. His passion is to work and serve the Lord through families. He is married to Mrs. Sheeba Thomas. As a couple and as individuals they have done family seminars across cities in India and UAE.A graduate in engineering with 16 years of corporate experience, he is presently working for VFM Systems & Services Pvt. Ltd as Head of Sales and Marketing handling IT solutions. He has been involved in the Sunday School ministry as teacher and Headmaster for 11 years. As a family they worship at the Mar Thoma Church, Primrose Road, Bangalore.
Mrs. Ramila Jeevakani (Trustee) Along with her husband, Mrs. Ramila Jeevakani is actively involved with the ministry of UIM, especially in coordinating the Light House programs across Bangalore. They are very zealous in family ministry and their vision is to train and equip the families to face the current threats against the family and to inculcate the biblical values for couples to grow to be a Godly family. She is married to Mr. Jeevakani and is blessed with two children; Konig Samuel and Konig Puah. Her educational profile consists of B.Tech in Computer Science and she is currently associated with WIPRO as the software quality assurance manager.
Mrs. Anita Thomas (Trustee)
Mrs. Anita Thomas a Law graduate from Dr. Ambedkar Law College in Chennai is an Advocate in the Madras High Court and the Lower Courts for the last 14yrs. She has also completed her M.A in Public Administration from the Madras University. She is married to Mr. Thomas A Thomas, a Public Relations Consultant. They are blessed with two children – Karun and Divya. Her skills in organizing programs and events stem from her experience with the youth League, Sunday school and Couples Fellowship in the church.
Pastor. Bharat (Trustee) Having been associated as an Electronic & Telecommunication Engineer with Times of India, Hindustan Times and Indian Express for 11 years, God called him for full time ministry. He is married to Mrs. Jennifer and is blessed with two children; Joshua & Caleb.
He has served as a pastor for 7 years in different churches. He is the founder & senior pastor of the Crown of Life Ministry. He is burdened about the marriage break ups in the churches and has taken family ministry as one of the important aspects of his church ministry to bring the restoration in relationships.
