Urban India Ministries (UIM) is a Christian organization - a family ministry propagating family values based on Biblical principles.

2.      Which Church does the ministry belong to?

Urban India Ministries (UIM) is an inter-denominational family ministry and is not affiliated to any Church or organization.

3.      How are you funded?

We do not receive any grants or funds from a funding agency. We are a faith based organisation and we receive donations/contributions from our beneficiaries, well wishers, donors and supporters.

4.      I would like to donate money to a specific project. Is that possible?

Contributions from donors and supporters are designated for the specific purpose for which it is given. The donor can specify the project to which the contribution is being made. In case it is not mentioned then the contribution is accounted to the General Fund of UIM.

5.      How can I be associated with the ministry?

You could be associated with the ministry by joining us as the staff or volunteering for our programs, camps and seminars. You could also be associated as a prayer partner or as a supporter or donor through your financial contributions.

6.      Who is the target group for your ministry activity?

UIM is a family ministry and works with all the members that comprise a family unit. We work with couples through the UIM family seminars, youth through our pre-marital seminars, teenagers through the Trendsetter programs, children from the age of 6 to 19 through the SHILOH project. The other beneficiaries of our projects and seminars are the sections of a family like the grand-parents, single parents etc.

 8.      How can I join the ministry?

To join our ministry you can send us your resume at urbanindia@gmail.com or walk-in directly after fixing an appointment with the office. An interview with the concerned Department Head, the Regional Head and also the National Director would be conducted to finalise your recruitment. All staff policy procedures would be applicable to confirm you even after joining the ministry.


9.      How is UIM governed?

Urban India Ministries is governed by a Trust registered in the state of Karnataka.

10.  How do I contact the organization for counselling?

You could contact us either over the phone to fix an appointment for counseling. You could avail the Face-To-Face counseling where you meet the counselor in person or opt for the tele-counseling facility.

11.  Will my counseling details be kept confidential?

All counseling details would be kept confidential. The only details that would be shared would be the statistics of the number of cases in a certain period of time (day/month/year etc) and also the statistics of the different case categories.

12.  Do you do career counseling?

No, we do not do career counseling.
