Ministry of UIM in Kerala With the vision to reach out the hurting families in Kerala UIM inaugurated the Kerala chapter in 2005. Mr. Stanly Johns and Mrs. Fanny Stanly had joined as the Regional Directors to spearhead the ministry of UIM in Kerala. They have conducted family events in the length and breadth of Kerala and have also counseled many individuals and families. As Regional Director Mr. Stanly & Mrs. Fanny moved out with some new initiative, God brought in Mr. Sam & Mrs. Nancy to hold the fort as Region in Charge. UIM wish them all the best as they take up the new initiative. Family Camps Family camps were conducted across Kerala. Trained couples facilitators along with the Regional Directors handling the sessions. There are many important family issues addressed through theses camps.
Family Seminars
As per the invitation of the churches and organization one day family seminar is conducted by trained couple facilitators on various issues related to family, marriage, parenting, relationship etc.
Pre Marital Camps & Seminars
Having concerned about the youngsters in cross roads of career, marriage, family etc. a one day pre marital seminars & 2-3 days of pre marital camps are conducted in different parts of Kerala. Over the years many youngsters are blessed by the scintillating sessions facilitated by the renowned youth speakers.
Homebuilders
Couples gather in different parts of the state to build the marriages and enjoy the relationships. Number of couples has discovered an oasis in the midst of dryness in their relationships. Here not only do couples learn blue prints for marriage, but these action packed session would enable the participants to immediately apply what they have learned.
Trendsetters
Teens who are confused with the current urban trends were able to make healthy choices by attending trendsetter session. Trendsetter sessions are progressing in different schools in Kerala. The trained Trendsetter facilitators handle the session.
Counseling

80% of suicidal deaths in Kerala take place among the age group of 15-59 yrs.
Suicide proneness is high among young women of the age group 15-29 yrs. Male-Female ratio for that age group is 39:61 (overall ratio is 74:26) As per the 2006 reports 28.8% of people in Kerala commit suicide in a year. Divorce Around 1,200 couples are breaking marriages in Cochin every year followed by Trivandrum with 1,000 divorces.
