Ministry of UIM in Goa Goa Chapter Inauguration
Being burdened about the startling reality in Goa, UIM inaugurated Goa Chapter on 23rd August 2008 to apply Biblical principles and values for marriage and families, assist individuals and communities to face the challenges of urban living, advocate sanctity of life and the institution of marriage and alert the society about the forces that threatens families.
The Regional Directors Mr. Christopher & Mrs. Sophia toiled day and night to see this happen. The dignitaries include National Director Mr. Mathew, Dr & Mrs. James Samuel and all the Regional directors of UIM. The inauguration function was held at the Entertainment Society in Panjim, the capital city and 55 people from various walks of life participated and assured their support for the ministry of UIM in Goa. Family Seminars & Camps
To help the couples to build their marriages one day Family Seminars and Family camps are conducting across the city. Couple from different walks of life and different denominations gather together to restore and enjoy relationships. UIM trained resource couples facilitate the sessions which enable the participants to commit to build their homes for the Lord. Having been burdened about the unscrupulous situation in the city, couple of Pre Marital Seminars were organized in different parts of Goa. Many youths across the city had participated and were blessed by the session facilitated by renowned speakers on different topics, such as ‘Dating, Courting, Abstinence’ etc. The participants dedicated themselves to obey the divine ordinance about their life.
